MATERIAL MATTERS

LDF 2022

We were thrilled to take part in the newest fixture of the LDF design calendar: The Material Matters exhibition which launched at the iconic Bargehouse OXO Tower Wharf on London's Southbank and ran from the 22nd to the 25th September 2022. Our partners and Scandinavia's leading contract furniture brands, Fora Form and Ragnars, created the main furniture display for the event. Taking over the whole of the 3rd floor, we installed an exemplar of our work including pop-up meeting spaces and biophilically inspired office furniture.

WHAT IS THE SOCIAL VALUE OF MATERIALS?

The fair featured five floors of exhibitions, site-specific installations, a marketplace, learning space and an extensive talks programme, providing a new platform for engagement, collaboration and inspiration for the design and architecture industries. Among other things, Material Matters investigates how the design industry can address issues around the circular economy: asking how it can lead the drive to Net Zero, and why material intelligence is so important to all our lives?
